STEP 1. Carefully & completely fill out our Yacht Request Form. Please be sure to tell us your prefered form of contact and
indicate your first, second and third choice of boat and the dates you are interested in. Note: It is more likely that a boat will be available from Saturday to Saturday.
Step 2. Immediately upon receipt of your charter request form we will ascertain the availability of the yachts you requested and get back to you immediately. If you agree with the results, we will reserve the boat for you for a period of seven days. During this "option period" the yacht is guaranteed for you pending your decision. It is recommended to formalize your party's travel arrangements to Greece at this stage.
STEP 3. Before the option period expires you must send us a bank draft for 30% of the total amount and fax us a copy of the receipt. If the option period has already expired upon receipt of your deposit we will make every effort to find the same or similar boat that meets with your approval.
STEP 4. On receiving this confirmation we will send you five signed copies of the Greek Charter Party Agreement. You will need to sign these and send four back to us. Your copy together with the downpayment becomes your booking confirmation. The booking is now complete.

third parties and damage to hull, machinery and equipment.
There is a deductible provision, the amount of which is related to
the size of the yacht.
SECURITY DEPOSIT
You are required to leave a Security Deposit (guaranty) prior to
embarkation in order to cover the possibility of damage to the yacht or
loss of equipment.
This deposit is refunded to you in total if the boat
and its equipment are returned intact. In the case of damage or loss the
estimated amount is withheld and the balance is returned to you.
SAILING QUALIFICATIONS
Bareboat chartering is a considerable responsability and should be considered only by confident and experienced sailors. Greek law requires that if chartering on a bareboat basis,
the Skipper and Co-skipper must produce an original certificate or licence attesting
to their sailing qualifications and experience. Each sailing party should have at least two members possessing certificates of sailing competence. In the event that we are not assured that the client is suitably experienced, we reserve the right to refuse the handing over of the boat or to hire a skipper for the entire duration of the charter at the client's expense.
SKIPPERED CHARTERS
If you would still like a sailing holiday but do not have the experience to take a boat out on your own, we can arrange for you to have a skipper. Or if for any reason the owner or representative feels that your crew is not experienced enough to sail, a skipper will be assigned to you.
A skipper will have his own cabin and will provide for his own meals and provisions. Together you will plan your route and discuss your preferences. The skipper's fee is usually arranged with the skipper prior to the charter - approximately 110 Euro per day.
If for any reason you feel unhappy with your skipper, we will do our best to find another one for you. However, we have no doubt that you will find our skippers to be friendly, hospitable and welcoming. At the same time, they can be discreet and will allow you to maintain your privacy.
DELIVERY- REDELIVERY
Our starting & ending day is normally Saturday.
Embarking at 17.00 p.m., disembarking at 09.00 a.m.

START-UP PROVISIONING
By sending us a provisioning list before your arrival, your provisions will await you onboard. alternatively, you can go shopping upon arrival. A van will take you to a supermarket and bring you back to your boat with your shopping at no extra charge.
Fresh provisions are conveniently obtainable on almost all islands.
Dining out on the islands is inexpensive as well as entertaining, at one of the many traditional tavernas.
CLEANLINESS OF THE YACHTS
The yachts will be delivered in a thoroughly clean condition. Cleaning equipment is carried on board for your use. A mandatory end cleaning charge will be applied according to the size of the boat.
CHECK IN PROCEDURES
Our main sailing base is Marina Alimos in Kalamaki, Athens, although in some cases you can request to pick up your boat from other locations for an additional charge. The boat will be handed over to you fully equipped with full water and fuel tanks, safety equipment, bed linen, blankets and towels. You will be expected to return the boat in the same condition, with full tanks.
In most cases, you will pick up your boat and meet the owner or representative at Kalamaki. This is about 40 minute drive from the airport. Check-in time is usually 5pm Saturday and check out time 9am Saturday, although this is flexible. If you arrive earlier and the boat is not yet available we can arrange for your luggage to be looked after until the specified check-in time.
During the check-in you will need to supply the representative with a minimum of two sailing certificates from recognised sailing schools, (unless you require a skippered charter - see above) a complete crew list including passport numbers of the crew and a deductable security deposit, which will be returned to you at the check-out on the condition that there have been no losses or damages. You will also be asked to check through an inventory list to establish the existence and condition of the items on board. If anything is missing or not in good condition, please make this clear before you sign the inventory list.
CURRENCY
The currency unit is the Euro. Euros may be obtained at any Greek bank.
APPLIANCES
The electricity supply in Greece is an alternating current, 220 volts, 50 cycles. Appliances for 110 or 120 volts may be operated by using step-down transformers having two separate windings which will eliminate any danger of electric shock. Before taking any major American appliances to Greece, it is advisable to check whether they can be adjusted to Greek conditions.
